We take source protection seriously. If you have information about issues affecting UCL Laws students, faculty governance, or institutional transparency:

  • Student welfare concerns
  • Institutional transparency matters
  • Financial irregularities or misconduct
  • Academic integrity issues
  • Information in the public interest

Source Protection & Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting our sources to the fullest extent possible. However, we must be transparent about the limitations:

  • Email is not completely secure. While we handle all communications confidentially, email can potentially be intercepted.
  • We will never voluntarily disclose the identity of confidential sources.
  • We cannot guarantee complete anonymity due to technical and legal limitations.
  • We strongly recommend using a non-work email address when submitting tips.

For highly sensitive information, we recommend:

  • Using a new email address created specifically for this purpose
  • Avoiding using your work or university email
  • Not including identifying information in your initial contact

Response Time: We review all tips and inquiries within 48 hours. Due to the volume of submissions, we may not be able to respond to every tip, but all are reviewed carefully.

About Anonymous Submissions

If you wish to remain completely anonymous, please do not include any identifying information in your message. Be aware that:

  • We may not be able to follow up with anonymous sources
  • We will fact-check information independently before publication
  • We prioritize accuracy over speed
